If you do not speak Italian, it is useful to know how to speak some Italian. The people are very kind and lovely, but it’s helpful to know Italian language. The setting is beautiful and food is delicious at the restaurant. The accommodations are clean, nice. I would return to the place and stay again. It is peaceful and relaxing.

Loved it. We wanted to stay in one of the cinque terre villages, but ended up here and we were SO glad. Take the ferry from Porto venere which is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Hotel staff will help you understand the ferry and times. Town of Porto Venere was one of our favorites.
Staff was awesome! Food was excellent! Location was amazing! The only drawback is the rooms need updating to match. Room was certainly clean but bathroom was small and room a bit tight. We only had one night to spend and all three couples enjoyed the too short amount of time immensely. Staff was so friendly and totally on it. 5 Terre Pelagos was an incredible place to stay. My wife and I stayed in Paris, Rome, Florence, Venice and Cinque Terre and this was our favorite hotel by far. Loris, the receptionist was extremely helpful. She personally walked us to our room and even booked us a reservation at an amazing restaurant next to the hotel. Clean, comfortable and detailed. Definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Manarola.

Highly recommend Pensione Sorriso for a stay in Vernazza. Evelyn was a wonderful host and went beyond expectations in helping us enjoy our stay. The hotel has a bright breakfast area/lobby and a nice patio/garden to enjoy. We stayed in a room with a private bath and balcony. Although no sea view from the rooms, there is one from the patio and the sea is only a two or three minute walk from the hotel.
