"Handy to cricket ground , decent breakfast"
Botleigh Grange Hotel & Spa
"It has the atmosphere of an old fashioned country hotel which gives it character. Spa was being refurbished so I can't comment on that. Bed was comfortable with great quality linen, the ensuite was a good size and the breakfast was decent. The staff were very helpful"
The Elizabeth House Hotel
"Having stayed here several time previously, I knew what to expect in the same room I had stayed twice before. I was warmly greeted by two ladies on reception who got me checked in. I decided not to have breakfast there as it was a little messed up last time. One of the ladies came out to show me where I could park in a packed area which I was grateful for. There was a good, functioning fan on a very warm day although the curtains were open and the windows closed which created a greenhouse atmosphere and I had to remedy immediately. I ate nearby, grabbed a quick shower and settled for a decent night's sleep despite the warm conditions. Always happy to stay here."
Harbour Hotel Southampton
"beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff was excellent"
ibis budget Southampton Centre
"For a budget room this was ideal. Compact but clean and comfortable beds. Perfect location as could walk into Southampton centre and the docks. Continental breakfast but enough variety to fill you up. On arrival we was greeted by Simon on reception who was extremely helpful and polite and gave some excellent local knowledge for walks on the docks and other areas, thank you."
