"We stayed at this property for two nights prior to embarking on a cruise ship outboundfrom Portsmouth Harbor. The hotel is a short walk from the Portsmouth train terminal. It is located in the Gunwharf Quay development which is a huge shopping mall and entertainment venue with many restaurants. It is an easy walk to the Museum of the Royal Navy and a bit longer walk into the core of old Portsmouth. The hotel was pleasant but beginning to show wear. The breakfast was good with many offerings and sufficed to start our days."

"Lovely hotel in excellent position for exploring the town and for access to the cruise terminals. Check in Was fine but no information given on breakfast timings or options for dinner. Although not really a problem as such, strange there was nothing in the in-room guide either stating the times"

"Our room was excellent. Very spacious for sure and clean too. Having a couple of chairs to relax in was also good. The hotel was nicely located to walk into town for supper, wine for or pending cruise and kill time. The hotel arranged a taxi for us which was great. Tks,"
