The Mallyan Spout Hotel
8/10 Good
"We’ve been going to the Mallyan Spout for 48 years and seen many transitions, but basically it stays the same. Keep the friendly Yorkshire customer care at the top of your agenda! This keeps it special."
Argyle House
8/10 Good
"Clean room, convenient location a short walk to the sea. Parked a short walk from the hotel. Run by a very nice, helpful family."
The Whalebone Arch
10/10 Excellent
"Emma and Dave were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble . It was so good having a kettle and a fridge in the apartment. A microwave would have been good, but I am not sure where it would have gone. Parking was easy as there was permit parking on the road, and permits were available on request. The Whalebone Arch is just a 5 minutes walk to the front, and there's loads of things to do, including an open top tour bus running throughout the day. Plenty of places to eat and drink. All in all a very good holiday.."
Royal Whitby
10/10 Excellent
"Reception- Found them very helpful, pleasant and informative. On booking I asked about car parking"
LilyRose Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"There were many steps to climb but our room(11) was clean with a comfy bed and a good shower room. The owners were helpful. Good view of the Abbey lit up at night. Id go again but not on the Regatta weekend too many drunks shouting in the street."
Penny Hedge, Whitby by Marston's Inns
10/10 Excellent
"Very well maintained, great value, fantastic breakfast and evening meal, staff were very friendly and approachable,"
Station Inn
8/10 Good
"Room 3 on the top floor, great view of the harbour. Pub with rooms but it was quiet and not disturbed by any noise downstairs. Very clean and seems to have been newly refitted or at the very least. Very well maintained. Big bathroom and finished to high spec. Would stay again."
