Lovely stay in Oberstdorf

Lovely hotel! I had a very spacious superior single room with balcony, with an amazing view! Great breakfast, great spa area. I enjoyed a lot the pool, water temperature was perfect and the size was enough for a relaxed swim.

I was disappointed that staff made me feel like I was an imposition, particularly Uta Tobisch. The other staff made some effort but a far cry from other areas across Europe that I’ve visited. I stayed for two weeks for a figure skating competition and my room was far from the main restaurant, cleaned only every other day, and I constantly had to request more toilet paper. Utilities and room are adequate.

Ich habe mich gut erholt im Hotel Filser. Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert; das Bett war sehr bequem. Was mich gestört hat, war der Zigarettenrauch des Nachbarbalkons. Das Frühstück war vielseitig bestückt, mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Einziger Wermutstropfen: als Käseliebhaberin fand ich es schade, dass lediglich dünne Käse-Scheibletten auf dem Buffet lagen, obwohl im Dorf überall feiner, einheimischer Bergkäse verkauft wird. Die Auskunft und Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption war top. Ich kann das Hotel alles in allem empfehlen.
