Super convenient, near bus stop/BART, shopping area. Affordable rooms if you’re on a short trip and don’t need anything fancy.

Decent-ish
This is a definite 2.5-3 star place. Some street noise and some smelly hotel neighbors (pot) but other than that a decent value for the price.

Exactly as expected for the price. Location was super convenient. Has a little bit of a musty smell in the hotel room. No AC so we opened up the window and we can hear the busyness of the city. The walls are pretty thin where we can hear our neighbor's every move and what was going on in the halls. If you like sleeping in pitch black, this might not be for you. The room we were in has a window above the door frame and a significant amount of light would come through from the hallway. It’s not one of those hotels where you’re excited to go back to and relax after a long day of exploring. We were mostly there just to shower and sleep. All-in-all, it was good enough for 3 nights and the price we paid.

Great building, and lovely location! Biggest issue was lack of climate control in the room. Was up on the 8th floor and the room was very warm, despite it being a cool day. Made falling asleep hard. Aside from that, wonderful stay!

Great location
We stayed at The Mosser for a quick weekend trip to San Francisco. The location was perfect! Mass transit is just a block away so you can get all over the city. There were restaurants and bars nearby. Rooms are small but we weren’t in the room except to sleep. Beds and pillows were comfortable. It’s an old building with charm! I would definitely stay here again.
