Primary negative -- JUST when I was about to shave and shower at 9am (after a LONG day of travel the previous day), the water was only cool, and ONLY A TRICKLE. SO very frustrating. It was literally impossible to take a shower. Just as I was about to leave the room at 10:30am, the water came back on as normal. When I went to check out, I noticed a letter at the front desk explaining the water outage. If a letter had been slipped under my door, or IF I had been notified when I checked in the prior evening, I would have showered at 8am, before it was affected. It really left a negative impression after an otherwise very enjoyable stay. I'm planning on making a reservation and returning on Monday, Oct. 6th, and can only hope I won't experience the same issue.
Of less significance -- The floor in the breakfast room was UNBELIEVEABLY sticky. Even though it might be a potential safety hazard, I believe someone should have taken 5 minutes to mop the floor. I felt like I was tracking sticky substance all the way back to my room. On the positive side, your breakfast selection was quite impressive. I'm currently at a Hampton Inn in Exton, PA, and your breakfast was considerably better. Even with just a few minutes left, the scrambled eggs were being replenished.....most impressive. 5*
