We only needed a bed for the night as we were attending a concert. The bed was large, clean and very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. We needed a taxi to get to the venue and they had one for us within 3 minutes. Fresh water, still or sparkling on demand at the front entrance. Shower snd restroom were cleaned and well stocked. It was a good stay, they arranged for a cake and balloon to be in the room when we arrived as it was my husbands birthday which is very kind. The room was clean. The access to filtered water downstairs was really good and the small children’s play area was a plus. The hotel could do with a bit of a renovation but generally in good order. The staff were generally very welcoming and helpful apart from a woman called Luisa. She checked us in and from the get go, she wasn’t very welcoming which is fine but it was when we asked her a couple of questions about getting a taxi from the city centre and about public transport that she truly showed her dislike towards us. She was most unhelpful and we were made to feel a bit stupid to be honest.
