Fairly basic but clean and comfortable. 10 minutes walk for main station but not an easy route with either slopes or steps or another route crossing roads and through construction work. Also shortish walk both to the city centre and the Danube.

The hotel is well located also construction affects a bit the walk from the main rail station. Good standard room but some of the staff were not particularly friendly. They probably need to be remembered what is the meaning of the word "hospitality"!

Cleanest room we have stayed in during our time in Germany. Cool, comfortable on some hot days. The air conditioning wasn’t working in the reception area, the staff was doing their best to work through it. 15 minute walk to Ulm Minster, easy to get around. Walls are a little thin, could hear our neighbors alarm clock. I leave ratings on the blow dryers: 8/10. Great airflow, 3 settings but had to hold the handle to maintain airflow. Common factor for each blow dryer I’ve used in Germany.

For the most part, this hotel was a great fit for our family. It had bunk beds instead of a second double bed, which worked perfectly for our two children. We caught colds on the airplane trip and had some heavy head congestion, but when we asked for extra pillows to prop up better, they said they didn’t have a single extra pillow for us, which was very surprising and unfortunate. We ended up having to take pillow cases off the one pillow (each) we had, and stuffed our winter jackets inside to make additional pillows. Not very comfortable. Also, the hotel wasn’t located in the greatest part of town. We didn’t have any issues with safety, but walking to Alt Stadt wasn’t the best. The breakfast was nice with a large selection of foods.

Great hotel overall! Everything was very good and we really enjoyed our stay. The only negatives were the grumpy older receptionist, who was not very welcoming, and the breakfast bread. It was supposed to be fresh from the bakery, but honestly, calling it fresh was a bit of a joke. Apart from that, everything was great and I would happily stay here again.

The room walls are very thin. You can hear every word and snore in the next room. But what annoyed and irritated me most was the wait for the only elevator. I timed it several times: the record was 7 minutes and 23 seconds from pressing the button on the ground floor until the elevator door opened on my floor! Outrageous! Other times I timed were 5 minutes and 47 seconds, and 5 minutes and 34 seconds. This is inexplicable and simply frustrating. I will not book this hotel again, as there are better quality hotels in a similar price range and more centrally located.

Reception staff v nice. Easy to check in/out and fine for a stopover for the night, quick (but not particularly pleasant) walk into town. The lobby and rooms had a very musty-smelling rough carpet, and you could see the dirt on the edges - maybe I was paranoid after noticing this but didn’t feel like the air was clean when sleeping. Glad to leave.

Excellent location, value and breakfast! Perfect for our short trip to Ulm. The immediate surroundings aren’t beautiful but within five minutes’ walk you are in the old town or by the river. We will definitely return!
