I stayed at this hotel and accidentally left a medication in the mini fridge. Less than two hours after checking out, I realized my mistake and immediately called the hotel. The supervisor told me she had checked the room but nothing was found. While I understand it was my responsibility for forgetting it, I am very upset because I am 100% certain I left both the medication and an ice pack in the fridge.
I even asked them to check the trash, explaining that I could still use it even if it had already been removed from the fridge, but I was told it could not be found. Fortunately, this turned out to be just an expensive inconvenience that disrupted my travel plans, as the medication can be replaced. But imagine if I had left a ring or something with sentimental value.
Someone at this hotel is clearly not being honest about items left behind, and because of this, I will not be staying here again and will likely avoid the Hilton brand in the future. Very disappointed, especially since the front desk staff had been very friendly before this incident. Issues like this should be handled with care—and they truly show whether a hotel is willing to go the extra mile and whether a guest’s trust genuinely matters to them.
