I paid for a doble room with balcony for two days.
Arrived at 10am and asked for an early check in since I had to be working all day so I didn't have to bring all my important things (laptop, etc.) with me all day, but the girl at reception didn't even ask anyone or checked if the room was already available. That's ok but...
When I got back to the hotel at night, another receptionist told me they had made a mistake and I no longer had a room with balcony but a regular room for the first night (which is cheaper than what I paid for).
They didn't offer a refund or anything, just the option of changing rooms in the morning.
Next morning, before leaving for work for the day, I went to reception to change the room. The girl (same as the day before) told me that she didn't know if the room was available and that I could leave my luggage again at reception and check again at night when I got back.
I asked her to at least spend two minutes of her time to check if the room was empty, after all she made the mistake of giving my room to someone else.
She did with a bit of bad manners after I insisted. It took her literally 2 minutes.
She came back and slapped my room key at the front desk where I was waiting, without saying anything else and going back to her own things.
I understand people can make mistakes, but at least treat your client better when you make a big mistake like this. Also, they never offered me a refund.
Hotel is ok but shame on how all this was managed.
