The check-in experience was very good, and we felt truly welcome from the moment we arrived. The receptionist gave us a nice tour of the hotel, and the room itself was cozy, clean, and well maintained, with good housekeeping throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not quite live up to expectations. The service at the bar was often lacking, as there was rarely any staff present, and we frequently had to look for someone ourselves in order to be served — both in the lounge area and by the pool. At the same time, the bar prices were extremely high compared to the quality.
Overall, the hotel also lacked atmosphere and ambiance. The common areas felt very quiet and empty, without cozy lighting or music. Even after we politely asked if the lounge music could be turned up slightly, the request was refused, despite there being almost no other guests around. It also felt strange that the table lamps in the lounge were removed exactly at 10:30 PM while we were still sitting there.
The restaurant experience was unfortunately disappointing as well. We waited a long time before anyone came to take our order, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. We were not asked how we wanted the steak cooked, and it arrived almost completely raw. When we sent it back, the same pieces of steak were simply cooked further with the sauce still on them, which felt very unprofessional. There was a lack of atmosphere and a feeling that guest service was not a priority.
