Booked a 2 queen bed wheelchair accessibility room as I was travelling with my grandma who is in a wheelchair and requires a lift to get in and out of bed. Upon checking in we were informed the room wasn’t available because the people staying in the room decided to stay longer.
EXTREMELY unprofessional. After travelling for 3 hours to arrive at the hotel my Grandma was really ready to get out of her chair. We were told we could have an accessible room with 1 bed or a standard room with 2 beds. Like hello? The hotel itself is a dive and whoever is running this place needs to invest in some upgrades and upkeep of the property. The carpets are nasty, it has a vibe of somewhere you’d rent by the hour. None of the wheelchair door presses work.. again, everything is run right down. I could go on and on about the downfalls.. from the shower to the pillows to the drunk kids running up and down the hall through the night. What’s the point of having security if it still allows for that.
I would have to be payed to step foot back in this hotel.
