We stayed 2 nights. The room was spacious, but pretty basic. We are at Sally's both nights. The staff were lovely and helpful. Unfortunately their superiors, not so. I had emergency surgery 2 years ago, as a result I cannot eat a full portion. I asked if they did a half portion and was told no. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken slices. I managed half of the chicken and about 20% of the salad, which was mainly lettuce, with some cheese and croutons. There was no reason why they could not have done a quarter portion!! How difficult is it to put half a dozen small lettuce leaves on a plate with cheese and less than a handful of croutons!! What annoys me the most, is the goal waste of food. When so many people in the world are starving, yet companies give no consideration.

Nice motel which reminded of many of the motels in the US. Plenty of space in our room. Everything was clean with a decent size bathroom. 50’s style restaurant that was a bit on the pricey side but always packed!

Excellent motel near Copenhagen

Wittrup motel was great. Good option for cheaper accommodation near Copenhagen with free parking. I had no car, but public transportation was easy with 123 or 141 bus and i loved being on the green B line, excellent access to everything. Good restaurant on premises, but also try fantastic Turkish restaurant across the street, Mina Etliekmek. Rooms spare but clean and bathrooms modern.

Our room was squashed between lots of working men and their vans. Lots of walking back and forth in front of our window that had curtains, but no net, so no privacy. The bed covers and sheets were spotless, as were the towels. The tap in the bathroom just turned from side to side. In the morning we were woken by the noise of the vans and as it turned out, the vans belonged to a group having a 25th wedding anniversary, what rubbed salt into the wound was the breakfast we were assured would be good, cold sausage, cold congealed scrambled egg in a small dish, uncooked boiled eggs, hard rolls, I could go on, the wedding party had a lovely buffet breakfast waiting for them, croissants and pastries as well. This Motel is not really value for money

Absolutely loved everything about this motel! It had everything we needed for a quick stay. Only downside was that a delivery truck came at 06:30am on a Saturday and was so very loud and scary sounding we could not sleep! But if you’re not in the rooms by number 2 then you probably wouldn’t have heard it. When I do come back I’ll request a different part of the motel for sure.

Helt ok

Helt greit sted bare for å ha tak over hodet. Bra parkering men ellers noe gammel motell. Positive med oppholdet var lett og gratis parkering utenfor og stor tv med mange bra kansler (selv norske nrk). Var rent, men gammelt motell.

Da vi for første gang var på motel, må vi sige at dette er super godt, dejlige værelser, rent ( faktisk bedre end vores hotel dagen før), dejlig frihed til at slappe af med en lille plads til bilen foran, samt et cafesæt uden for. Formidabel resturant ved motellet, og super morgenmad. Og en en ægte 50'er atmosfære ( amerikansk diner) hvor betjeningen var i top, vi kommer igen, tak for oplevelse

Værelset var rent og personalet (den smule jeg havde med dem at gøre) vare flinke og venlige. Der var noget tapet, der var revet af et par steder ved sengen der stod op ad væggen. Den væg hvor TV'et hang, var det tydeligt, at der havde hængt noget, som nu var fjernet, men det var ikke forsøgt repareret... Noget jeg synes manglede, var en affaldsspand/toiletspand på badeværelset, der var kun den ved yderdøren i værelset. Ellers var Wittrup et overnatningssted til prisen og det er nok ikke sidste gang vi kommer :)

Rent och fräscht och fint tematiserat i 50-talsstil även om grunden är väldigt enkel. Funkade bra för oss att övernatta på väg genom Danmark men inte mer än så. På minus-listan kan vi bara klaga på att det inte var någon luftkonditionering så luften i rummet stod helt stilla. På plus-listan hamnar den härliga restaurangen som ändå var över förväntan (om man gillar amerikansk diner)!
