THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SPEND A DIME WITH WYNDHAM SAM LORD
I read the bad reviews prior to our stay and still went with an open mind. Let me just say, PLEASE BELIEVE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS and then decide if it will be worth it to you. I am a pretty easy going person, so even with all of the issues with our room, if management was willing to compensate for our inconveniences and show even an ounce of care for our subpar experience, I would have left satisfied. They did absolutely NOTHING to make up for it other than offer us a 6pm checkout, which we were not able to accept as our departure flight was at 3:30pm. I requested monetary compensation (specifically, I wanted the $150 that was paid at check-in for transport and resort fee to be refunded) which was denied. I think my request was reasonable considering all that went wrong with our room. I was told by the front desk that in communications with the manager, "no other compensation would be offered." This is INSANE for a "5 star" resort to not care about the experience of their guests. I absolutely do NOT recommend this place.
