The beach was just a short walk away, and the soothing sounds of the water made the whole experience incredibly calming and refreshing. The two-bedroom cottage was charming, cozy, and had everything we could’ve hoped for. A perfect little getaway — we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time!

Beach serenity at its best

This motel probably has one of the most beautiful settings in the area. Mavillette Beach is huge, relatively empty and protected, and the rooms at the Cape View have back doors so that you can walk right out to chairs and picnic tables overlooking the beach. The room also had a big picture window in the back that allowed me to watch the surfers catching some gentle waves. Great for a longer stay, and the new management couple were kind and very accommodating. A very quiet and serene place. I want to go back!

This is a lovely place. Though the facilities are older they are lovingly attended to. It is the cleanest place we have stayed. The beach is a short walk and the views are fantastic. The hosts are lovely and helpfully. I would definitely stay again.
