I´ve stayed here three times, every time in the same room on the fifth floor, arranged by the good grace of Mr. V and Miss G. I love that room, and this city, and all the staff I´ve encountered thus far, maybe especially the lovely woman who managed the front desk, and who treated me with fresh fruit one hot summer evening when I stumbled in after a full long day walking the streets. I know where to stay next time I visit Budapest.

The rooms were small but practical and comfortable. On the downside, there was no complimentary kettle in the room, and the breakfast was quite expensive. Hotel was in a good location, walking distance to a lot of places. The staff sometimes weren't very inviting depending who was at the desk, they got better as the days went on. Our rooms didn't get cleaned everyday so we had to ask for fresh towels. But we had access to free water and drinks in our room. Considering we didn't stay in the hotel much, it was an ideal spot to stay at. Although, they provided us with a very late check out which was a plus as we were able to make most of the last day.
