El lugar es justo en el parque nacional lo cual pareciera conveniente sin embargo me limitó a los servicios que ofrece el hotel, que en cuando a restaurante y bar es excelente pero el área de excursiones es deficiente. No quisieron venderme excursiones porque iba sola, no me dieron alternativas ni soluciones, al plantear mi problema no hubo empatía alguna y por el contrario me dijeron que me debía tomar el día para descansar. El hotel es demasiado caro para lo que ofrece. Una gran decepción!

Congratulations for the new superior rooms…

The new superior rooms (like the one I booked) are very nice and comfortable… but I would not recommend at all the older. Very nice view on the lake and modern bathroom, nothing to compare with the cheaper ones (in which I stated a few years ago, extremely disappointed). In terms of comfort, the hotel made a huge jump offering an higher level accommodation option. Time now to focus on the food quality. Restaurant infrastructure is very nice… but the dishes are not better than any other low cost place. That’s my only negative comment (considering I stayed in a superior room this time).

Increíble vista al gray

Todo espectacular, excepto que para ir al restorant/lobby hay que salir al exterior y caminar por pasillos en partes techado pero abierto, las temperaturas son bajas, viaje con una guagua, cada vez que íbamos al lobby teníamos que abrigarlo mucho. El desayuno muy rico, lo mismo el restorant. Me esperaba más de las piezas, parecen instalación de faena (por fuera), por dentro impecables. Al baño le faltó calefacción en el piso. La vista de nuestra pieza (módulo 7) era espectacular, se veía un iceberg muy cerca

Ubicación espectacular e imponente.

Lamentablemente no fue buena. por un hotel que cobra usd$500 por noche incluyendo la comida esperaría que me puedan lavar 2 platos vasos y termas del picnic del almuerzo. Cuando llegamos a la recepción pedimos si lo hacíamos nosotros en la habitación, tenían facilidades ellos o se encargaban ellos de hacerlo. La chica dijo que lo dejaremos en el bar la próxima mañana la persona en el bar no encontraba las cosas y cuando las encontré me las devolvió sucia diciendo que no era su trabajo lavarlo. lo hice yo!!!

Amazing location. Room is small but clean and cosy. The food was great. Short walk to grey lake and ferrier hiking. Maybe we missed it but there dodnt seem to be a water refill station loke the other hotels in the area. Disliked the smoking.area.being right in front of reception. Meant you had to walk through smokers to get to breakfast and dinner.

Minha experiência no Hotel Lago Grey foi uma grata surpresa! O hotel é ainda mais bonito pessoalmente, e as fotos definitivamente não conseguem retratar a beleza da vista e a grandiosidade da paisagem. Os apartamentos são modernos, confortáveis e muito bem equipados, tudo pensado para proporcionar uma excelente estadia. O restaurante também merece destaque: comida excelente, ambiente agradável e preços muito bons para a região. Sem dúvida, foi uma das melhores surpresas da nossa viagem pela Patagônia. Recomendo muito!

Nice hotel, well located inside the park saving you a couple hours every day for the tours. The navigation of Grey Lake sail just a few steps from the hotel. The food was grate, and watching the “Big Pane” from your room has no price.

Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer mit Kingsize Bett gebucht. Die Superior Zimmer sind in einem separaten Gebaeude untergebracht und haben einen super Blick auf den Lago Grey und die Berge. Meine Empfehlung, um die tolle Lage des Hotels rundum geniessen zu koennen. Die Sauberkeit ist top, sehr gute Dusche.

Fundamentally this hotel has a lot to offer in terms of its location, and the bed was comfy / restaurant was decent, but overall we were very disappointed with the rooms, which are basically portakabins with super thin walls, cracked floorboards, lukewarm showers and no charm. The restaurant staff were all pretty unfriendly too. By far the worst value for money of anywhere we stayed in Patagonia.

We chose to stay inside Torres del Paine National Park, and it truly couldn’t have been a better decision. Hotel Lago Grey’s location is ideal for full-day hikes and for access to the boat ride to see Glaciar Grey. We had all of our meals at the hotel restaurant and were quite pleased with the quality of the food. The majority of the dishes were thoughtfully prepared and consistently excellent, especially after long days out exploring. The absolute highlight of our stay was the excursions booked through the hotel. A special shoutout to our guide Dani (and our driver Dani as well!). Dani, our guide, took the time to understand exactly what kind of experience we were looking for, asked all the right questions, and impressed us deeply with her passion for nature and her love for sharing Patagonia. Her knowledge and enthusiasm truly elevated our time in the park. Patagonia’s weather changes every few hours, and the hotel staff were incredibly flexible and helpful in adjusting plans and recommending the right experiences based on the conditions each day - something we really appreciated. One small note for light sleepers: rooms facing the lake (like ours) can get quite windy and noisy at night. Completely understandable given the hotel’s incredible location inside the park, but it’s worth bringing earplugs just in case. We would go back again in a heartbeat. Hotel Lago Grey made our Torres del Paine experience unforgettable.

Room was ok, somewhat old, heat did not work, WiFi only in hotel lobby, not in room. Lobby area was nice and the food (breakfast and dinner) was quite good. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Paid $500 per night during peak season, seemed a bit excessive for what you got, even accounting for location. One of only two hotels that operate in Torres del Paine park, likely why they can charge as much as they do.

What to say? The hotel is unbelievable. Everything is awesome, but of course, the location and views are the top features. Also, a special thanks to the staff who went 100% out of their way to help us with an issue we had with our rental car. They've done much more than I expected and that shows that the hotel is really worried about providing a top notch experience for the guests and not only rely on the location and view. I'd 100% go back. It's worth every cent.

We booked Grey III navigation from Refugio Grey back to Hotel Lago Grey. However, the ferry was cancelled without any notice. We need to purchase an expensive WiFi package in Refugio Grey in order to WhatsApp the hotel for the information. The sudden cancellation of the ferry without any early notice made so much trouble that we needed to rush back to Refugio Paine Grande for another ferry to Pudeto then caught the shuttle of hotel. From Refugio Grey to Paine Grande, it was a 11km hike! Such trouble made us eventually arrived the hotel at 9pm instead of originally ~3-4pm. We lost much time to enjoy in this expensive hotel. The front desk staff originally agreed to give us a 1hr late check out at 1200 on the next day. However, it seemed that staff themselves didn’t have good communication about this so another staff rang the phone of our room to ask us to check out before 1200. Anyway, this check out problem is soon resolved after explanation and we checked out at 1200. Furthermore, the WiFi inside the room was terribly weak. Also, the shower couldn’t offer a hot enough water (but the temperature now is ~15 degree Celsius at night). Even hot water inside campsites of Patagonia W Trek were much better than the one in this hotel. Also, this hotel costs high price per night. It’s unacceptable and unreasonable for so much trouble and inconvenience caused. This is the WORST hotel experience we have ever had. We highly NOT recommend this hotel in term of value.
