i have stayed at this hotel before and never had any issues the staff were always friendly and helpful unfortunately this stay was quite different i found the staff to be rude and ambivalent to any issues we had it was busy so unsure if the staff were overwhelmed but the hotel is centrally located a short walk away from the town centre which is great

Had a great stay at this hotel. Great location, close to many restaurants and pubs. Beautiful view of the river. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and had all the basics. The only complaint was that the AC kept shutting down during the night and the room got uncomfortably warm, so I had to wake up in the middle of the night to reset it.

First thing to say is great location in the heart of the city. Hotel looked a bit tired and was obviously understaffed. Same staff who were covering check in were also serving in the bar. This led to long delay checking in. Fire alarm went off during our first night at approx 3:30 am. We got dressed and looked out into corridor along with everyone else on our floor, the alarm sounded for a couple of minutes then stopped. We all just had to assume it was ok to go back to bed but there was no sweep by staff, or anyone coming round to give information. Overall we would come back but some improvements need to be made.
