Fantastic stay in Cusco

Great stay in this Inca/colonial style hotel just 5 minutes walking distance from the central square. Rich breakfast in a cosy library with an open fireplace. Best of all - the reception staff - helping out with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

Amazing Stay in Cusco

Hotel Rumí Punku is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff are so hospitable, the breakfast is great, and the location is very convenient. We very much enjoyed the massages offered, and can’t wait to stay here again.

A quintessential boutique hotel a few blocks from Plaza de Armas. Housed in a historic building, the entire building exudes rustic charm. Beautiful courtyards, spacious, clean rooms and a wonderful breakfast buffet. Staff are all outstanding. We absolutely loved this hotel and wished we could stay longer.

Fantastic hotel close to everything but just outside the busy and noisy main plaza. The staff were extremely professional including having our rooms ready with our checked bags in room after returning late from a 7 day trek. This property was beautiful, with so many colonial touches...lots of character. There were quiet patios and an upper lounge area that was nice to relax in at days end. I really liked the proximity to so many points of interest eg. Cathedral, San Blas and yet on a lovely quiet street, which was also well served with markets, pharmacy, vendors. The staff were very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel, esp rooms away from the main entrance and dining area which can be a bit noisy. Breakfast was nice and served early, which was ideal for early morning hikes. Just as a note, some grab and go fruit would have been nice.

Feels Like Home – 10/10 Stay at Rumi Punku We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Rumi Punku in Cusco. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The atmosphere is warm and homely—exactly what we needed before and after hiking the Inca Trail. The hotel is spotlessly clean, with charming details throughout and a beautiful blend of traditional architecture and modern comfort. Our room was cozy, quiet, and the HOT showers, shampoo, conditinner and bodywash were a dream after days of trekking. Breakfast was fresh and varied, and the location is PERFECT —just a short walk to the historic center, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Cusco. It truly felt like a home away from home. 10/10.

Stayed in this excellent, locally run hotel. Staff were fantastic, price is great, they atored luggage for us twice on 2 x 5 day treks with Alpaca Expeditions with no fee. Breakfast included and its excellent for fhe price of the stay. They have filtered drinking water for free that we drank over a 2 week period and did not get sick. The laundry service for the treks is very reasonable and we booked a great massage between hikes and use of the private spa (jetted tub, sauna, shower) that is also very reasonably priced and great between treks. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Cusco is a great base and i wouldnt stay anywhere else in Cusco having stayed here. Great value for money.

Very conveniant location and really cute property . I liked that it was in the middle of the city yet quiet and serene . The rooms were average and felt a little small but I realy liked the hotel overall. The breakfast was not good but it did the job . The hot water and Tea available at 24 hours was fantastic. The service staff was very sweet and welcoming and ensured we had a good stay .

Perfect Stay

Staying at Rumi Punku was a great experience. My boyfriend and I were traveling with another couple and we stayed here for a total of 6 nights in neighboring rooms. Every member of the staff was attentive and caring. They stored our luggage while we left for Machu Picchu, and had it waiting in our room upon return. They also arranged for us to have a driver, Sergio, for a day excursion who was spectacular. He felt like the fifth member of our group. The location was fantastic and we enjoyed the daily breakfast. We looked forward to having a drink in the lovely courtyard outside our rooms before dinner.

The Rumi Punku is a gem, a real oasis in the middle of busy Cusco. There is a gate that is staffed by a security guard, so guests feel safe right from the start. The front desk staff were outstanding, answering questions and pointing out amenities. Tea and filtered water are available 24 hours. The breakfast offered many selections including breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, and eggs cooked to order. A delightful place to stay when exploring Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu.

Great stay, perfect locatio, walknwill recommend.

It is a boutique hotel with charming and vintage decor, small lobby combined into dining area. Beautiful courtyard and potted plants. Staff very sttentive and helpful. Bathrooms do not have exhaust, moisture collects, no heater either but good hot water for showers. One small heating unit in a 3 beds room, only turned on at 7 pm , supposed to be untol 7 am, but awaken very cold going to toilet at wee hours. Buffet breakfast with plenty of cut up fruits, fresh juices and hot drinks.
