Great room, nice n clean with coffee making facilities. Fab bathroom with lovely toiletries and thick white fluffy towels. Food is very reasonable for location and breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly and I would stay again.

Arrived at the hotel after a 10 hour drive to be told they had cancelled my room. They said it was because I didnt make payment however I was on pay at property on arrival. Hotel was full. Staff didnt help at all and did not care. Had to find alternative hotel /accommodation and was not much availability as something was going on in the area. It may have done me a favour as the hotel looked awful cracked windows, curtains hanging down. To top it off the hotel then 2 days later tried to take payment for a no show.

Arrived at the property at 2300 after a looong day at work only to be informed by reception staff that my booking had been cancelled as it was not prepaid. Due to an event in the city all non prepaid bookings were cancelled and there were no more rooms available. There was no prior communication on this from the property or Hotels.com. I was left in a city with no available hotels rooms at 2300 and had to drive to Dundee over 60 miles away to get a room for the night. I will not be using this property again and will not be using hotels.com for future bookings if this level of communication is considered acceptable.

After driving 7 hours, arrived at the hotel to be told " your room is cancelled". No explanation, no alternative offered. This is not acceptable and purely by luck I was able to arrange alternative accommodation several miles away. If I had arrived later or without my own transport I would have been absolutely stuck. A phone call or message earlier that day would have helped. An explanation as to why the room was cancelled would have helped. An alternative hotel would have helped. The reception staff said they were too busy to make phone calls and made no attempt to resolve, despite 3 people on reception, nobody waiting and being more concerned with whatever they were watching on their phones. Never use this hotel.

The kettle didn't work when we got to the room but we got a new one from reception and it worked great. All in all great night sleep had but I had booked a week in advance but on the day booking would have been £8 cheaper. I did question this at reception but she ignored my plee to get it for the cheaper price

Dirty, we had to switch one of our rooms due to the smell of smoke, the Hallways stunk of cigarettes also, while we were complaining and changing rooms someone else came to reception to complain they had found pills on the floor... The hotel advertised is not what you get, you walk round the side to an ex holiday inn, it's mouldy and feels unsafe The sea view from the room was nice

The hotel no is Holliday but OYO, simple but good and the price is very nice. Excelente for travel and Holliday in Aberdeen, very nice city for 2 day.

The room was spotless and very well presented with all the facilities. I unsure how the keycode worked, however a member of room cleaning staff very approachable and helpful. My main grumble was trying to find entrance as main door redirected me around to back of building. This joureny around the side, also showed a dire need of litter/weeds tidy up. Overall, very good value for money and woould book again for similar price.

Rooms not as advertised, outside of building had loads of rubbish lying around. No bar serving any kinds of drinks although food was available. Many random people moving about who seemed unkempt. Random rubbish bags outside rooms. Reception areas cold and unwelcoming
