I stayed at Hotel Cortiina recently and, while the location was excellent and the bed comfortable, my overall experience was overshadowed by poor service and unacceptable behavior.
On multiple occasions, I encountered rude and racist attitudes from staff. During breakfast, one server was dismissive and unprofessional—when I opened the menu simply to confirm the exact name of my order (which I already knew), she abruptly said she was too busy and couldn’t wait. At dinner, the attitude of the staff was similar, which led us to stop dining there after the first two nights.
Additionally, one of the receptionists—a short man with a beard—was extremely rude and came across as discriminatory. For a hotel of this standard, such behavior is shocking and unacceptable.
Accessibility was also an issue, as the tub was unusually high and difficult to use safely.
Overall, while the property’s location is ideal and the rooms are comfortable, the negative experiences with staff behavior and accessibility issues far outweighed the positives.
