Charming and cosy castle with a lot of rooms to explore. There was an endless collection of antiques. Overall very clean.

Our two teenage daughters, got to live out there princess dreams! Ask reception how to get into the tower - it’s a hike, but the view is amazing! The castle is generally a little rundown (but nothing that ruins the grandeur of this once stately home) Both our rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean! Based on reviews, we had decided not to have dinner at the castle, but there are some cute options near. We did have breakfast and it was excellent, with everything you may need to start the day with a full stomach - we took her out to sit in the gardens. There was a lovely free feeling to being able to roam the property and gardens. If you’re traveling through Fyn, I would add this as a stop (it was our daughter‘s favorite part of the trip)

Furnishing in general rooms were fabulous. Electrical outlets in our room did not work. Person in charge brought new lightbulbs and extension cords. Wiring definite Y needs updating. Our shower had black mold. The biggest issue was guests not allowed to use eleva5or and NO help around to help older Expletive lug bags up 2 flights of stairs. Breakfast was adequate. Not recommended for any one over 50.

Jeg var ret skuffet. Det lever ikke op til mine forventninger i forhold til deres reklamer. Specielt hovedretten om aftenen var ikke noget at skrive hjem om. Desserten var god, og den kvindelige tjener var utrolig venlig og sød.

Skuffende oplevelse

Vi lejede “Æblehuset”, som er en lille lejlighed, der ligger et stykke fra selve slotsbygningen. Egentlig en fin og hyggelig lille bygning med plads til fire, men det var meget beskidt. Fx spindelvæv og edderkopper i hjørnerne og en prop i håndvasken, som var fyldt med hår og diverse sager. Indeklimaet var desuden fugtigt, så det kunne mærkes i sengetøj og dyner. Internet var der heller ikke noget af, og fjernsynet virkede ikke. En skuffende oplevelse, som selv ikke de ellers smukke omgivelser kunne veje op for.

Resturanten er lukket søndag og mandag.. Mandag var udvalget til morgenbuffen gevaldigt reduceret. Svar fra personalet var at der ikke var nok gæster. (Prisen var den samme). Rengøring fra søndag bestod i tømning ad affaldsspand på værelset.
