We have stayed at Hampton Inns for both business and pleasure! It started out by when we got to our room it was not the type room I had reserved! It was a 2 queen room with a tub/ shower and I had booked a king with shower only! I called the front desk and they said they were overbooked for king rooms so I was switched that morning! I said that wasn’t right! They said either I was in that room or they would have to walk me to another hotel so they switched me! II didn’t feel as a Hilton Honors member that I was treated fairly! have a bad hip and knee and it is difficult for me to climb into a tub/shower! I booked the room and it was confirmed 3 weeks prior and they told me it was changed that morning before I checked in by the hotel! The bed was so hard it kept waking me up! The shower head was broken and the free breakfast was not very good! Also my husband went to get ice and he went to the one on our floor and then to the first floor which was broke. And said to go to our floor or the 3rd floor so he had to go to 3 different floors to find an ice machine that worked! I was very disappointed in this hotel experience!
We will not be staying at a Hampton Inn anytime soon!
