We stayed for one night to rest at this hotel, which is surrounded by beautiful fields. It was lovely, clean, and cosy. It’s a shame we couldn’t enjoy the swimming pool, as it was closed during our stay. This was particularly disappointing because the pool was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. We were told it had been closed because not many guests were using it. However, we had specifically chosen this hotel because of the advertised facilities, so we believe the pool should have been open as advertised.
There was also some confusion with our room. We were initially given the wrong room, which was small, located next to the restaurant, noisy, and had no air conditioning. We had to return to reception to ask for the room we had actually booked. Fortunately, we were helped by a polite lady at reception who quickly sorted everything out. She gave us a quiet room with a terrace overlooking an apricot tree. The room had air conditioning, a fridge, and was spacious enough for the three of us.
It was also lovely to walk around the hotel grounds and see the goats, horses, and rabbits. The food at the restaurant was good, and the lady serving breakfast was also friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the man at reception when we arrived, who gave us the wrong room, and the man who checked us out were not helpful. The second receptionist was particularly unpleasant. Although he spoke English, he continued speaking in his own language.
