Some of the most phenomenal, attentive and nice staff at a resort this size. The food was exceptional with a wide variety of menu items that isn't only South Asian. I can't rave enough about Sanchaya, it's a fantastic retreat and only an hour ferry ride from Singapore.

Beyond Superb

The Sanchaya exceeded all our expectations. It was absolutely spectacular from its location to its beautiful buildings and grounds. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and the food was beyond superb. We stayed at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore before coming here and I would say that The Sanchay far surpassed Raffles, which is knowns as one of the top hotels in the world. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

Impeccable personalised service from Greg and his entire team. It's the little things like water and towels delivered in little picnic baskets to us on the beach, bring greeted with a smile every hour of the day anywhere in the estate, pulling out a chair for my wife.

If you are looking for a quiet and exclusive hotel, this is the place. It will be very relaxing as you will only see a few guests all the time. There’s a lot of staff constant looking after you and asking if you need anything- if you need them, they will not be overwhelming.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sanchaya. The staff were all really super friendly and helpful. The staff would go out of the way to help. Thank you to the Sanchaya. One thing to be mindful of is that there are very limited dining options in walking distance of the Sanchaya so we ate most meals at the hotel which are excellent but you do need to allow for it in your budget. If you are impatient do not eat at the Sanchaya as the food takes a really long time to come after ordering. This did not bother us as we were on island time.

Best service we have ever experienced!

From the moment we were met at the Sanchaya lounge at the ferry terminal and all through our stay, the service was like no other I have ever experienced. Every staff member went over and beyond to make sure all was good for you and always with a beautiful smile. A very special thank you to Nawa (front desk manager) who was so helpful and always greeted us with a warm smile and helped with organising trips, printing off documents and making bookings. Also to some of the other staff, Hadi (who drove us around to see places of interest on the island and even bought out cash to make sure we were not left short and we needed this on our visit to a lovely coffee farm!), Maria who gave me a perfume the day we left as I mentioned I liked it previously!, and Greg the manager who came out daily to make sure all was ok. The hotel is classy and boutique style with a fabulous 50 metre swimming pool facing the beach and the food was divine prepared by the lovely Budi who came out many times to again check all was ok! The beach nice although the tide went out a fair way and it wasn’t so easy to swim in but lovely all the same So much more we could say but in summary if you are looking for a great hotel with amazing service on a beach and need to chill, this is your place ❤️
