The bed was not the most comfortable, but you can't beat to convenience of the location, especially if you are planning on traveling to Cinque Terre. I would recommend using this as a base and using the trains to travel to Monterrosso and then taking the ferry or walking down the route. If you plan to spend your whole day out and just use this for sleeping, it's perfect. If you're not used to any noise, the trains are a little loud, but it was actually surprisingly quiet for the location.

I will start this saying that we’re in our 70’s and this accommodation is definitely geared for younger people. That said it was very clean and comfortable. The only drawback for us was the 38 stairs to the room. Our rooms were directly above the La Spezia train station which made traveling to Cinque Terre or Porto Venere pretty easy. Breakfast is at a bar in the train station and was a coffee and croissant. Air conditioner worked well and the room and bath were clean.

Excellent location, at the station itself! The Air Conditioning saved us in the scorching summer heat, and we were welcomed into a small, yet clean room. The bathroom was spacious and also clean. The staff were super helpful and kind throughout. Parking was not the best, but worked well. Thank you for all your kind support! You were great!

We loved our stay here! Very clean, beautiful, spacious and smells very nice & clean. Just right by the train station too and close to everything like restaurants, coffee shops, stores. It was a very basic set up but positive experience still. Room was fairly spacious (3 beds), bathroom and shower were really good, a/c worked well. But the setup was actually in the train station building - at least our room was. But it was a very quiet room - no train noise. The breakfast was a voucher for a cafe nearby that was small and often busy - for a cappuccino and pastry. Since 2 of the 3 of us were gluten-free, that meant no breakfast. But otherwise it worked well for us as we traveled in the trains every day to the cinque terre!

Excellent place to stay. Handy to everything including train station, shops, restaurants, and tourist spots. Air conditioner was excellent and room had a fridge. Digital check-in convenient, and a bowl of sweets was put into our room on arrival and replenished each day.Paolo was friendly and helpful.
