Great location. Easy to get to. Had little reception on way to Townsville when they called. Found out that if I didn’t answer that call, they would have given my room away. So be careful. More than 💩 would have hit the fan... travelling 5 hrs, family of 4. Customer service in that area definitely needs work. Everything was clean, smells nice, but the extra non-paying visitor, cockroach, we could have done without. Its an older place, but if it's just to sleep, it's perfect.

Shoredrive Motel is such a great spot if you want to enjoy the beach and the whole strand. Great places to eat nearny Our stay was really comfortable, and my kids had an awesome time too. The staff were super friendly and really accommodating. We’d happily stay again!

Property is very old and dated but clean. Family room would benefit from the addition of electric frying pan/benchtop cooker and a larger fridge. Proximity to staff entry for restaurant made our room quite noisy late at night. Location was great. Right across from lagoon and beach & The Strand restaurants within an easy walk. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
