The staff was the friendliest and most engaging I'd ever encountered at a hotel. Christopher and Penny were spot on in their recommendations for restaurants. The lobby was cozy, and there were blueberry muffins, fruit, yogurt, and coffee in the morning. Cider doughnuts and hot apple cider were available in the late afternoon.
The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We stayed in room 7, which had a B&B feel to it and a balcony overlooking the quiet street.
The location was ideal: a little off the beaten path, but walkable to shops and restaurants. The bike shop around the corner on Cottage Street was very convenient for renting e-bikes to ride on the carriage roads in Acadia National Park during peak foliage, which was heavenly.
Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again!
