Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Das Frühstück war ordentlich. Es gab Filterkaffee in der Thermoskanne, frische Brötchen, Wurst und Käseplatte, Rührei und hartgekochte Eier sowie frisches Obst und Joghurt.

Na een lange dag reizen was er toen we bij het hotel aankwamen niemand. We hebben geruime tijd om het hotel heen gelopen om er in te komen. Gelukkig hebben andere gasten ons geholpen. We moesten naar de nachtingang, daar naar een telefoonnummer bellen. In dat gesprek kreeg ik een code voor toegang tot een kluisje en in dat kluisje lag een envelop met de elektronische kamersleutel. Toen kwam het probleem om de deur open te krijgen. We konden niet vinden waar we kamersleutel konden houden om de deur te openen. Gelukkig kwamen er gasten naar buiten, die ons lieten zien dat we de kamersleutel voor de deurknop moesten houden. Binnen kwamen we in een koud kil hotel. Zeer geen warm welkom na een lange reis. Gelukkig was er de volgende ochtend wel een ontbijt.

Das Hotel hat eigentlich Potential, aber es war niemand zum Empfang da und das Restaurant war trotz eines Samstagabends geschlossen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war um halb zehn komplett abgegrast und wurde mangels Personal nicht nachgelegt. Die einzige Kraft vor Ort war bemüht, aber überlastet. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und sauber, aber insgesamt wiegt das die Nachteile nicht auf.

Etzhorner Krug review.

We enjoyed our stay although we hadn't realised that hotel is several kilometres from city centre. However good bus service right outside hotel. Our only complaint would be unfriendly staff, maybe they don't speak English, but could have smiled a bit more. Nothing else around except cafe bakery.

Alles Gut. Nur Expedia nicht.

Ich habe schon öfters im Etzhorner Krug übernachtet weil wir vom DRK dort öfters Veranstaltungen haben bzw. unsere Referenten dort übernachten lassen. Bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt war ich mit dem Frühstück nicht ganz einverstanden. Ich war um ca. 8 Uhr dort und es gab z.B. kein Rührei mehr und die Auslagen wäre schon etwas spärlich. Dieses mal aber eine dicken Daumen nach oben. Bei Expedia allerdings werde ich nicht mehr buchen. Ich wollte den Preis 67 € haben und habe auch alle Daten eingegeben. Bekam eine Bestätigung über 69€. Auf meine Rückfrage, die innerhalb von 48 h beantwortet werden sollte habe ich bis heute noch nichts. Im Hotel sollte ich dann die Rechnung bezahlen. Expedia hatte auch nur ohne Frühstück gebucht. Ich bin einmal gespannt, ob diese Bewertung auch so im Internet erscheint??????????

Incommunicado

I am traveling with an android tablet, not a laptop, as it weighs less. The hotel has no computer available to guests, and no one there could get my tablet to work, so for 2 days I was incommunicado to my husband in the U.S. Also, the hotel is sufficiently far from town as to necessitate a bus or taxi ride into town if one is on foot, as I was. Otherwise, pleasant.
