The two-room suite (D306) really exceeded our expectations. The beds were super comfortable, there were TV's in the bedrooms, a full-sized fridge, microwave, and stove, and all the cooking utensils you would need. Even had two coffee makers and a blender. Also full sized washer/dryer and enough soap for one load. Travertine shower enclosures, quartz countertops and a great view from the large patio made it feel deluxe. No worries about running out of hot water with the huge water heater. There were more than enough towels and linens. Comfy leather couch and loveseat. We were told by reservation takers there would only be sheets but the beds did have clean bedspreads that worked as blankets. There were a couple of putters for the mini-golf course and even a few board games. Everything was remarkably clean. The complex is gated and the guards only let residents in so it felt safe.
That said, the resort itself had a few rough edges, as expected. One of the pools was only half completed, one was heated but there was no hot tub. The elevator didn't work, good thing we weren't in a wheelchair. The huge smart TV in the master bedroom wasn't hooked up to the satellite but it had netflix that only played movies dubbed in Spanish. The remote batteries were dead so we had to buy more. The ice maker was inoperable - maybe on purpose.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again if we get the same bargain rates we paid this time.
