Fantastic hotel, great bar, breakfast and food. Was pleasantly surprised how good it was given it was very rural and seemed in the middle of nowhere. Down the road from a lake that is phenomenal. Staff were great, food was great, free coffee, free parking, nice comfortable beds and big rooms. Highly recommend.

Quirky large hotel full of Icelandic memorabilia in the common areas. Good place to break the journey across southern Iceland. Comfortable room. Annoying that wifi is so bad (I had some work to do & had to give up). Good breakfast was included which was very welcome.

Great location to see the sites on the southern coast. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The sitting areas in the different buildings were pleasant. Breakfast was good although crowded due to the tour bus that was there.

The room was spacious and had everything we needed. It’s located 26km from the ice cave tour we were signed up for the next morning, so worked out perfectly. We ate dinner, which was fabulous, and breakfast, excellent, at the restaurant on property. Highly recommend this place!

Great value hotel not far from Glacier Lagoon

Our room was huge and very comfortable, except we couldn't turn down the heating, so had to sleep with a window open. Breakfast was fabulous and we felt this hotel was great value for the price. Would definitely recommend.

The staff were warm and welcoming. The hotel restaurant had several menu options. The hotel was clean and well-cared for. In general, hotels and guest-houses in this part of the country have been no-frills and great for low-key travelers, but this one was a step above that offering a little something extra.
