This was my 3rd stay at North Zen Villas and it remains a blissful place to be at. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The resort’s SEADS restaurant covers breakfast, lunch and dinner serving delicious food. The sunset view is spectacular from @ NZV as well. Best place to be in Panglao island.

Third stay this year at NZV. Staff are always approachable and very helpful. Place is so serene and peaceful. A much needed place for respite and meditation. SEADS restaurant offers very tasty and a variety of food. The pool is large and clean. YouTube and Netflix access is readily available in the room. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay; was here for three nights. Beautiful, quiet, and well-maintained property. Everyone on the staff was professional, courteous, and helpful. The resort is located just a few miles from the busy, loud streets of Alona Beach. Thus, it offers a pleasant escape from the noise and traffic. The mangrove forest, located behind the resort, is a lovely nature reserve and there is a great sunset spot at the end of the boardwalk. One of the best resorts in all of Panglao.

We had a very enjoyable stay at North Zen Villas. The property is peaceful and beautifully designed, and the swimming pool was a highlight — never too crowded, making it perfect for a relaxing dip anytime. One of us tried the massage and was very pleased with the experience. We also highly recommend visiting South Farm, especially if you’re traveling with kids — it’s well worth it. There’s some room for improvement in the cleanliness of the common areas, particularly given the number of staff on site. It would also be great if the team were more proactive in suggesting activities.

Only concerns we had (but did not affect our stay): 1) When we got breakfast with 5 ppl vs 4 ppl, one person’s meal was always forgotten and they had to wait an extra 10-15 min to get their food; 2) My family prefers breakfast buffets, but I loved their breakfast menu

Large clean and cozy room. King size bed was comfortable which provided much needed sleep. The tub in the room was so relaxing with a fantastic view of nature. Hot water was steady in the bathroom. AC was respite from the outside humidity. The restaurant offered ample sized delicious home grown cooked meals. The staff from the reception, security, environmental services & cleaning crews to the restaurant were actively engaged to ensure you’re attended swiftly. Shout out to Jane!!! This is the place to watch the sunset. North Zen Villas is the sister resort of Oceanic; this resort is quiet and a short ride from the party scene of Alona Beach. Overall, this resort is a solace from a busy hectic life. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the grounds are attractive, especially the boardwalk through the mangroves, and the food at the restaurant was good. We love the rooms and the hotel itself with all the amenities around like the Mangroove, the big nice pool and the restaurant. Services are great, food is not the best for me because mostly are healthy, but for all, it was great!!! Crews were so courteous and they cleaned our room every day. We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff went above and beyond to make our honeymoon truly special and were so accommodating in every way. Since many of our tours started early, they arranged takeaway breakfasts for us, which was a huge help. We stayed in the pool villa, which was amazing, peaceful, away from the crowds, and the 'floating delight' breakfast was a highlight! The bathroom and shower were incredible: very spacious with great water pressure. We also enjoyed strolling along the bamboo walk to the bar, which doubled as a great running path. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced as well. While the hotel is about a 12-minute tuk-tuk ride to the center, we actually valued being on the outskirts of the chaos of Alona Beach. Coming back to such peace and quiet was exactly what we needed, especially while dealing with jet lag. This was truly a little slice of paradise; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and would love to stay again!"

The staff was amazing. They really helped us to feel safe and comfortable while lodging there. The food was 10/10 as well. It's a smaller size resort which is nice if you prefer the quiet. I highly recommend staying here. However as for exploring the surrounding area, it did not feel like a very walkable environment outside the resort. You need to set up transportation or rent a motorbike. They have both options at the resort and even the option to rent a tuk tuk instead of your average car. BONUS - Best happy hour in the world !!!

Peaceful and amazing hotel

We had a wonderful time at North Zen villas, we enjoyed that it was quiet and peaceful. Good service, the staff are very nice and helpful. Big and wonderful pool area with sunbeds. Food was very delicious, and the food decoration were amazing. The opportunity to find restaurants in Doljo is poor. But it is easy to grab a TukTuk/tricykle whenever you want to go somewhere else like Alona Beach. Had one massage at the hotel, can highly recommend. Super!! The bambu walk to sunset is very cool and beautiful, and they have a bar out there to. Can highly recommend this hotel// Therese & Anders
