Rivière Noire District Hotels

We just spent a wonderful 5 nights at the Oberoi and loved every second. The rooms are large and luxurious with a private terrace and an especially nice bathtub big enough for 2. The water sports are gratis including a snorkel boat 3x a day that goes out to just past the reef very closeby. The snorkeling right off the beach is also nice and full of fish. Sunset Villa was my home in La Gaulette for a week. A spacious location and kind hosts who were extremely helpful. I will try to return to this magical location one day.

The service at this resort is impeccable. Every aspect is luxury from the rooftop pool to the beautiful beach. There is an abundance of loungers and while some people put out towels at sunrise, it was unnecessary as we never had a problem finding a longer at any time of day. This might not be the resort for you if you have children that would like to be entertained but as a couple enjoying a romantic getaway this was exactly what we were looking for. I had an amazing stay. The service level was very high throughout. Excellent rooms with everything you need, clean and well designed. I went on two trips, but otherwise stayed at the hotel. Was worried before my trip if I’d get bored, but there was plenty to do, the food selection was plenty (6 restaurants) and the view, beach and garden were absolutely stunning. Only minor hiccup was the WiFi connection outside the lobby area wasn’t the best. I bought an eSIM and that solved it. Amazing hike in...

An amazing villa, we were a family of 5 people, had a great time, the pool is perfect, location is just brautiful and close to several restaurants and many attractions. The staf was very kind and helpful.

Set under the backdrop of the Le Morne mountain, this resort is the epitome of paradise. The staff, the beach, westward facing for the most incredible Indian Ocean sunsets, the facilities, all are top notch, everything designed for your relaxation and pleasure. 5 star service at every turn. 5 star cuisine, and one of the most picturesque locations in the southwest of Mauritius. thank you to all who made our 10,000 mile trip from New York one to remember.

The staff was very friendly and supportive. They provided guidance and also help with tours. The hotel is pretty well run; it is very clean, quiet, and safe. It has a nice swimming pool and offers good food.

This is a fantastic resort. Everything is up to the highest Hilton standards. My only small complaint would be that it is a little out of walking distance from the Flic en Flac main area. The breakfast buffet was the best breakfast i have had in Mauritius.

This is a very good and affordable hotel in Flic-en-Flac, Mauritius. The hotel is very clean and its amenities are in very good condition. The breakfast buffet is very good. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful and free shuttle to the beach and shopping mall is provided. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to visit Flic-en-Flac.
