Breakfast was really good- lots of choices, fresh food, well done. Would have liked to know that the registration desk was not staffed before 2pm. We arrived in town from the train station and would have liked to stow our luggage for a couple hours before checking in. As Americans- we had no idea that some European hotels had this procedure. Also made assumptions that there would be AC and a refrigerator in our room. Guess we could have read about the amenities better to be more prepared.

The attractive hotel is very conveniently located at the edge of the old city. Parking was provided across the street. Our room was compact but very well designed, bright and fresh feeling. There was also a small balcony with seating that was a pleasant place to view the activity in the square. Breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and gave us an excellent dinner recommendation. My husband has some mobility limitations and I was concerned that the hotel has no elevator. I explained this at booking and was appreciated being given a room on the first floor, up only one flight with a good railing.

Even though the hotel is on the main square in Old Town, it’s surprisingly quiet. The village itself is very clean and peaceful. My room faced the square and had a balcony with an awning and seating. Picture perfect. The weather was hot during my stay, but with the provided fan and the open windows, the room stayed comfortable, even for a midday break. Complements for the excellent linens! So comfortable and cool. Breakfast was seasonal and local, and the staff at reception and breakfast were friendly and helpful.
