The room was in a lovely, well-kept old mansion located within a few steps of the brewpub’s parking lot. Clean, a nostalgic delight to the eyes, and as cosy as old slippers. The delightful, huge, old bathroom was well-appointed and boasted as large soaker tub.
The pub had a very enticing menu of food and drinks. Their own beers are varied and very good. They also have guest taps for beer wine and cider, and an extensive wine and drink list, including several whiskies. A wonderful guest bonus was that we received complimentary flights of beer paired with locally made specialty chocolates.
We felt well pampered by the pub/restaurant and guesthouse and really look forward to staying again soon!
