James at the front desk provided exceptional customer service. However, many basic amenities one expects from a hotel stay were unavailable, such as shampoo, additional towels, and even eating utensils at breakfast. I'm not sure why they were short on so many items, but someone should have bought the basic amenities for guests to use until their supplies arrived. It was a busy weekend in Danville, so it seemed like poor planning on management's part not to have inventoried what they had and what they needed.
Our room was clean, but many of their furnishings, especially in the lobby and dining area, were well-worn and needed replacing.
