Such a unique place with amazing rooms and decor! Great location close to restaurants/shops and easy to get to sites and attractions, but still felt quiet and private. Hope to stay here again soon!

Very nice place - put choose your room with care

Perfekt location and the ambience of the building is wonderful! But do avoid the Romantic room on the top floor - unless you like blows to your head from banging into the ceiling time and again, even in the bathroom. You can effectively use less than half the floor area of the room due the ceiling height. The room has a small window and is quite dark. Wonderful breakfast served in one of the historical rooms.

The accommodation was spacious, clean, and full of character. The check-in process was straight forward, and we were given a key to a parking garage where we could safely keep the hire car during our stay. The car park is about a 7 minute walk away. Old fashioned B and B, mysterious, opulent old place, great location, lots of stairs, nice breakfast, dour host, my room is a library. Lively street with lots of shops. The free garage for my car was nice. No complaints.

This was the perfect location for us to see so many parts of Old Quebec. The host Philippe was so kind. The room was impeccably clean and so spacious. I would definitely recommend staying here. If you can’t handle stairs, this may not be a good fit, but otherwise it’s lovely.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Le Château du Faubourg. It's in a lovely area with many shops and restaurants or cafes around, and is very walkable to Old Quebec. The building is ornate and impressive, and the rooms are very comfortable and charming. Our stay was made even better with our most gracious host Phillip, who made a delicious breakfast every morning and was accommodating to special requests. Absolutely will stay here again.

We loved how close the property was to many great shops and restaurants. It was very quiet and peaceful and beautifully decorated. The off-street parking was in a pretty tight garage - best for a small car. Unfortunately there was never enough hot water to use the large bath in the royal suite but we were able to shower fine. Overall we had a great time here and would stay again in the future
