This little hotel has been in Marfa for a while. I stayed in it the first time I ever stayed in Marfa, I booked it again, not realizing, and I was surprised and happy to revisit it. The day was pleasant for me and my two kids positioned just outside Marfa it was perfect for jotting into town, rolling out to the Marfa lights and visiting Alpine and all the other wonderful attractions in the area.

Riata Inn was exactly what we wanted for our stay...the room was very large, the cost was much better than many of the options in town and the location was blocks away from everything we wanted to do in Marfa.

The bed under tha blankets/on the sheets was covered in hair, sand, and who knows what else. Trying to check-out was beyond difficult. Advertised via pics as the little glass houses as shown in this photo on the review, but it was actually a little hotel building. Bathroom/shower/sink was dirty. I only stayed a couple of hours to get some sleep before traveling by sleeping on top of the blankets on my own blanket and still felt gross. I would never stay here again.
