This is not a stay you do for relaxation. When we checked in they told us to stick around for a presentation after they get everyone else checked in. The 5-10 minute wait was more than 30 minutes because of the line. Basically, they showed us where the different buildings and activities are - pretty sure we could have stumbled on them ourselves.
The entire experience was pretty disjointed, from where to store your stuff, when you get to be in your room, lounge isn't big enough to seat everyone, etc - they just didn't have a cohesive experience.
Tea and snacks with more information late afternoon, followed by a presentation in an entirely different building at 5.30p. So we're warm and cozy in the Snowhotel, but bundle up to go to the Gamme meeting area with a fire. The Sami history would be more interesting coming from an actual Sami, not someone from Poland (nothing against their international staff). After a warm drink and reindeer sausage, we trek back to the hotel for dinner, then sit around and wait for an excursion, or to dig out your toothbrush and pjs from the shared luggage room, with everyone else doing the same.
We were lucky to experience northern lights right above the hotel. It would be better if they didn't kill the night vision with all the landscape lighting. But then they might not sell as many nighttime excursions...to go see the lights.
Good to do for one night, although pretty expensive, but not something you do twice.
