Booked room through hotels.com. When arrived I was advised there was $100 deposit that also needed to be paid to obtain the room. It was unexpected. There was blood splatters on the bathroom floor. There stains and/or mold all over other the sheets and pillow cases.

Value for the Money

The location of the hotel was convenient to shopping but the exterior and grounds did show that it was an older building. The interior had been updated, the room was nice with a good size refrigerator and small. It was a quiet, comfortable stay. We plan to return in September.

Nice hotel, good sized room but smelt slightly of dog. also the flannels were grimy coloured and black marks on sheets. Breakfast was ok with various options. Lots of eateries close by and walkable, would possibly stay again

The toilet was very low and water level in toilet was high. AC unit was loud. Breakfast food appeared “old”.

It was convenient to the interstate and outside dining. The breakfast was horrible. The biscuits were “hard”, sausage undercooked, bread and pasties stale and the waggle machine was so nasty that I wouldn’t event think about using it. Someone besides the desk clerk needs to be in charge of the continental breakfast.

Visiting from the North

The lady at the desk when we arrived was amazing!! So friendly and personable. Gave us recommendations on what was around for us to see and do. When we first got to the room I was a little skeptical because the door was left open and there was a wash cloth in the sink that awas wet. Almost thought we were in the wrong room. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Shower was awesome....good water pressure. Definitely would go back again. Air conditioning was amazing as well and so glad it works due to the fact it was triple digits the whole time we were there visiting.

Disappointed

Front desk staff was very accomodating upon arrival and they met what our reservation guaranteed. However, the non-smoking rooms had bathrooms that smelled as though people were smoking in them and no ventilation. The pool was shut down and no access to workout room during entire stay. Clearly a room or 2 near us was engaging in illegal drug-related activities on our last night. Front staff was unsure if they could address based on suspicion and contact police. Breakfast offered was good. Location is excellent for anyone staying in Fort Smith. Management needs to seriously step up guest safety enforcemet and property repair /operational issues.
