All the staff we had dealings with were very friendly and helpful. Tea n coffee n fruit available in the lobby 24hr. Rooms were lovely and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Shower had good output, with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was lovely, with a choice of breads, cheese, meats, cereals, yoghurts, salad stuff, fresh n dried fruit. Drinks: tea, coffee, juices, water Hot food available: eggs scrambled or boiled, beans and sausages. We had an excellent stay.

Friendly, helpful staff! Always there to say hello! Free luggage store before check in/after check out. Super convenient location. Lots of variety at breakfast. The bed was comfortable and we had use of our netflix/youtube on the tv! Also there is a little vent you can close on the window which completely shut out all outside noise. We honestly have zero complaints about our 6 days at this hotel and would definitely stay if we visit the city again. Thank you!

This retro style hotel is very dated and looks tired , the staff were friendly, the hotel is very close to the rail station so noise from railway is frequently heard but ear plugs are provided.

Clean and spacious room, ideal for a solo traveller. The hotel is conveniently located — about a 5-minute walk to the central station and town square, making it very easy to get around. Check-in was fast and smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Do note that the hotel was originally designed for train contractors and is located close to the railway station, so some train noise can be heard when trains pass by. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper. Complimentary breakfast and toiletries are provided, including a 2-in-1 shower gel & shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, with scrambled eggs, sausages, soft-boiled eggs, bread, and yogurts. Overall, a good and comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a practical location and something a bit different, this hotel is worth considering.
