The staff was really kind, helpful and pleasant and the breakfast was really nice! My room was clean but showed significant signs of wear. The bathtub faucets were stained and it took at least five minutes to get hot water beyond tepid. The king sized bed had seen better days as did the rest of the decor including the carpets. One last thing that I think is worth mentioning they use very strong air fresheners in the hallways which people would unplug because they were unbearable (even in my room) but they'd get plugged back in. It's good, but not great, ya know?

Awesome place in Castlegar! Great room with pool view! Queen Beds are comfortable and great with a fridge in the room and lots of ice on the second floor. The breakfast bar with waffles and eggs, cereals, fruit and good coffee. The slide, what a great slide . We stayed here for a golf tournament, what a blast! Even the 70 year old guest joined in. There is a decent restaurant (Mr Mikes) and a beer, wine and Liquor store attached to the restaurant to the hotel. A Starbucks, and Safeway in the adjacent mall. Could not have asked for anything more, Friendly staff, clean decent rooms and close to everything! Cheers and thanks for having us, we will be back! Dennis Dorling Delta BC

Our family didn’t want to leave. Got a themed room with bunk beds. It was 3 bunk beds that were full to queen size each with plenty of space between. Our own private door to the pool with a slide. Lobby was fancy, breakfast good.

The pool and waterslide were a surprising bonus, given the low price of the hotel. My kids were thrilled. We also appreciated the free breakfast, which had a lot of options.

We stayed in the coke room and it was amazing! Beds super comfortable. Pool so much fun! My kids loved this place and want to come back! Not very many breakfast options . I would definitely stay here again

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is older with a bright colorful waterslide and pool area in the middle. We enjoyed the waterslide however the hot-tub was merely a warm tub. One suggestion: is to have a bin in the pool area for clean and dirty towels. The hotel room was clean and the bed was cozy. Some extra cleaning could be done to the elevator doors so they would be more appealing.

We where traveling with our granddaughter and she was really looking forward to the pool. However, the pool is very shallow. She went down the slide and hit the bottom of the pool. She actually scraped her bottom and ended up with a bruise. If you have older children (7+) please be careful. I think the deepest part of the pool was 3 feet, they should be calling it a wading pool and the slide is dangerous for older children. Also, they were painting the lobby when we got there. We had the watch out for paint trays on the floor in the very small entrance and wet paint everywhere. My granddaughter got paint on the sleeve of her favorite jacket. Why are you painting at peek check in time? Very Early morning or late evening or at night would make more sense. The room was clean and the bed was good. So if that is all you want I would say this is a ok place to stay.

The room was clean enough but the toilet kept running, there was ketchup on the wall in the bathroom and the flooring had gaps in it that were excessive. The staff were helpful. Breakfast was not great. Pool had a water slide and hot tub but nowhere to swim. The pool deck could have used a clean.

The room was never cleaned in a 10 day stay, wr had to constantly ask for towels. We ran out of toilet paper. The fridges in the room were not working so they put small fridges in the middle of the rooms.

They never came in and cleaned our room. We had to ask for towels every day and we were there for a week. When I complained, they said they changed the sheets every three days I said well not in my room. There was a noise like someone was riding a treadmill I complained did nothing. The pool and hot tub were so disgusting. You could see the slime on the side of the walls, there was mould in the bathrooms on the roof just not a very nice hotel would not recommend it to anybody.

Only booked this hotel as it has a waterslide and hot tub. While sitting in the hot tub I noticed the front desk worker enter the pool area and go behind a door in the pool area. I could feel cold water coming out from the jets and then it went back to normal. She comes around and asks if the hot tub feels fine. I explain I felt cold water and she says she did something. Couldn’t quite understand as English was her second language. But smell of chemical or chlorine or bromine or whatever was strong enough to irritate my eyes. When we got back the room by wife hung up her swim suit and soon after noticed her swim suit was ruined, bleached or something from the chemical in the hot tub. In the morning went to let front desk know. Front desk employee said the manager would be in at 3 pm and would contact is as we were checking out. Now as of 10:32 pm still no call from manager.
