I loved staying here, although I moved to another hotel after staying here for three days. I wish I could stay here until the end of my trip. Excellent breakfast--$20 was so worth it to explore different food options, including a variety of breads, fruits, protein, fish, and soup. The room was spacious and clean. The bed and blackets were so comfortable that I couldn't get up quickly after I woke up. I stayed with my friend, and we both had large luggage, but the room still accommodated us. The staff service was great, and the hotel has many pleasant spaces on the lobby floor where you can sit, sip coffee, chat with friends, or even work.

The hotel is conveniently located. The rooms are pretty spacious. However, there is absolutely no air conditioning and the rooms are extremely hot. Check in was slow and the front desk personnel was a bit testy. The gym had no water cooler, no towels and no air conditioning. Breakfast was rather good.

The Scandic Neptun has been really good for our brief stay in Bergen. It’s quite close to the harbour and about a 15 min. walk to the train or bus station. The staff have been very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Our only draw back was the temperature in the room. It was 25 degrees, no matter what we changed the thermostat to, so the first night was a bit warm to sleep well. There was one small fan available in the room, so we got a second fan from the front desk, for the other side of the bed. Problem solved. Would recommend staying here.
