We have to stay in the area somewhat regularly but I will never come back to this hotel. The room smelled so strongly of disinfectant, it took about five hours to clear out with the window wide open and the fan blowing. The bed had only two pillows and a thin blanket, and there's no closet with extras. The shower had shampoo but no conditioner, there was one floor outlet that wouldn't reach the other side of the bed, and the two towels provided were so thin, I couldn't dry my hair much less my body.
Our room was right next to the stairwell, and I understand that somebody has to be, and we were willing to put up with the thumping and doors slamming, but our next door neighbors were also having a screaming match from at least 7pm to after 9:30pm. We finally went to the front desk to see if there were any other rooms available. He claimed they were fully booked but he did call room 206 and the screaming finally stopped.
I stay in a lot of cheap hotels and motels, but the Rodeway takes cheap to another level. I recommend literally anywhere else.
