I stayed at this hostel in Heraklion for two nights and it was a good short stay option. Nothing spectacular, but clean, safe, and well located.
I stayed in an all girls shared dorm with bunk beds and had the bottom bunk, which was fine for sleeping. The room had a sliding door that opened to a small balcony, which was a nice touch. The common areas were clean, the air conditioning worked well, and hot water was reliable.
The shower area was small, and the showers on my level were co ed, which is something to be aware of. Lockers were large enough to fit a full size suitcase and additional items, but you do need to bring your own lock.
The hostel has a rooftop with great views and a bar that opens in the evenings. The location is excellent, with plenty of dining and shopping nearby. I felt very safe, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. A front desk staff member assisted me with arranging a taxi to the airport, which I appreciated.
I am older than the typical hostel crowd and mainly needed a place to sleep between excursions. This was a good accommodation for two nights, but I would not choose it for an extended stay. Overall, a solid option for budget travelers looking for convenience and location.
