This stay was unacceptable, and I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.
When we checked in, we found hair on the bed sheets left from a previous guest. The front desk refused to move us to another room, claiming the hotel was fully booked. They also wouldn’t send anyone to clean the room—so we had to go to Walmart and buy a lint roller to clean the sheets ourselves.
The issues didn’t stop there. The shower barely had enough water pressure to function, and there’s no elevator for the second floor, so be prepared to carry everything upstairs. The building itself looks like it hasn’t seen fresh paint since the 1970s, and the walls have a permanent nicotine-stained haze that gives the whole place a run-down, smoky feel.
The worst part? Around 3am, someone in the next room either slammed into the wall or threw someone against it, hard enough that our headboard shifted 3 to 4 inches.
I could list more problems, but hopefully this is enough for you to make your decision.
