The Alexis Park Hotel was a really good place for the price. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel grounds were clean and well kept. The only issue was outside of the property it was dirty and had a lot of homeless people. The reason I have them 5 stars is because the hotel owner can't control the homelessness. That job is supposed to be done by the city and they are doing a terrible job. SF homelessness is getting out of control. Overall our hotel stay was great and very close to where we needed to be. Another great benefit was parking was free!

I would have rated this higher but for the location and noise (both of which are outside of the property’s control). This hotel is in an area with a lot of homeless and a fire station in the area. As I am a light sleeper, the sirens kept me up. Tony was amazing!

The room was not bad in itself, however the surrounding area will also shock you if you are not used to big US cities like I was. The nearby streets had a lot of homeless tents on the sidewalks and open drug use from people roaming around.

We feel like this is definitely a little hidden gem despite the surrounding area. The room is very clean and so is the property. This is a family owned property and it has free parking which you don’t usually get in the city. Staff was friendly and we had no issues. This was our second time staying here and will definitely be back!

A hidden gem in SF. I have been staying here for 20 years and would stay no where else. Family run. Amazing room. Very clean. Great restroom and plantation shutters. Just love this place.
