No top lock on the doors makes women traveling alone feel super unsafe. It was rundown, the bathroom was in desperate need of repair, the towels and the tub both brought me to the decision I’d rather not shower. It was quiet.

Royal Inn was convenient to where I needed to be to meet my friends from TN. I was pleasantly impressed that it was managed by a family. The manager did a great job of greeting me and offering assistance if needed during my entire stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay there again.

Inside room was super clean and has been recently remodeled. Next redo outside and clean up used ashtrays and cig butts. Oh and get tvs that work or better directions how to make them work. Have cleaners take old coffee out of coffee maker that was gross

Low budget great stay

This is a none expensive kind of hotel. The from desk friendly and those staying at the time I was there too. Room was very clean, had micro coffee maker fridge and air conditioning worked well and good lighting. Bed was comfortable TV had cable & movie channels. There is no luxury here but for the price you cant go wrong. It's close to food restaurants ice-cream parlor Wal-Mart pharmacy and automotive stores. Close to museums, waterfalls coal mine rivers forests and attractions in Tennessee and Kentucky area. I will stay here again. You make your stay what you want it to be. I made my stay here a great one!

Everything was dirty. Went to ask for new stuff and the guy was mad and made of ton of reasons why they weren’t dirty. Gave us new ones and still was getting mad. Half of the outlets didn’t work and the door wasn’t sealed correctly. Do not stay here if you want to be comfortable

RThe room was simply filthy, from the front door all the way to the bathroom, and gave off a foul odor; you’d have to be pretty brave to take a shower in a bathroom like that. The laundry room was downright disgusting: a veritable breeding ground for bacteria. The photos on the website don’t match reality; everything is dirty and the atmosphere is unpleasant... In short, avoid this place at all costs. )

Room was as clean as it could be given the decor was likely older than I am (I am an AARP member). The curtains did not completely cover the window and were partially sheer so people walking by could watch me do whatever. The TV did not work so all I had to do was listen to the traffic go by all night. The bed was suitable to be used as an embalming table but it much more comfortable than that. The proprietor was reasonably friendly however though difficult to understand
