Booked for the location and pool, as well as the curiosity of the quirky vibes.The staff were friendly and professional - no complaints there.
It's the state of the rooms and shared spaces that are really disappointing. This place has been through it and the wear + tear is on full display. Needs a FULL gut and refresh. Attempts have been done in the bathroom, but it's all a bit janky and leave you feeling dirty. If you are taller than 5'5' good luck with the super low shower head position and light fixtures that protrude from the low ceilings. Lots of broken things, non-functional switches and halfway measures with the fixes. There aren't normal size pillows for some reason and they are folded into squares for some reason, too. So much dust, grime, etc. You can tell it was once something cool and has fallen into disrepair. Hope someone comes in and revives this concept because you see the hauntings of charm it once had.
